Lupe Moyotl
Lupe continues to outperform her peers in my class when it comes to writing, note-taking, reading, and speaking. Only her horribly Draconian AP teachers are giving her a grade of a B. (Those AP teachers should re-examine the level of rigor necessary for their classes IMHO). Lupe has As in all her other classes. Further, she represents JFKHS well by volunteering at the Granada Hills Public Library. If she hasn't received this award already, Lupe truly deserves it.

Kennedy’s Medical Magnet Program is designed for gifted, highly gifted, and high-achieving students with strong interests in a career in medicine. The Los Angeles area is a center for healthcare delivery and research. Our four-year program will include internships and volunteering experience. Our goal is to immerse our students in the exciting
field of healthcare from the moment they step through our doors. Currently, our students are participating in volunteer opportunities at Cedars Sinai, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Kaiser Permanente, and Providence Hospitals.
